Like many members of the music community, Bliss53 was shocked to hear about the death of Chris Cornell.
“It’s really just sad and heart breaking, Don’t really know another way to put it,” Kevin told us. “It’s shocking and a shame. He had a beautiful family and its a huge loss to the music world. To many are going way too fast! When Jay first joined the band we took him to see Chris Cornell at one of his solo acoustic shows. Jay didn’t really know who he was at the time but he was blown away. I can’t say how sad it makes me that he’s gone. His voice… I could never sing like that… He was one of the few people in our genres that could really sing and bring the house down. I feel bad for his family and his friends and his band… what else can I really say.”
Chris Cornell was an epic performer in the rock n’ roll community, a definer of what rock really is. He died at 52 of what is being ruled a suicide, he will forever be missed.
